Questions people ask
How do I read the Bible in my language?
Open Settings, then Bible Version, and tap the download button next to a Bible. Each is about 1.3 megabytes and works offline once it is on your phone. On the Read tab a card also offers the Bible for the language your app is set to.
Which Bibles are there?
The King James Version, American Standard Version and World English Bible are inside the app. More download when you ask for them. The source and license of every one are listed in the app under Settings, About, and on the credits page.
Does it sync between my devices?
Yes. If you are signed in to iCloud, your reading, notes, highlights and trackers sync through your own private iCloud account. You can also save a backup file in Settings and open it on a new phone.
How do I move everything to a new phone?
With iCloud it comes across by itself. Without it, open Settings, tap Save a backup file, and send the file to yourself. Open it on the new phone and tap Restore.
How do I send a prayer request?
Tap the purple Can we pray for you? card on the front page, or open Settings and tap Prayer Request. Choose a category, write your request, and add your name or stay anonymous. It goes privately to the team, and we will pray for you.
Are there streaks?
No. Milestones celebrate finishing things, and nothing is lost by missing a day.
How do I add the widget?
Touch and hold the Home Screen, tap the plus button, choose Everything Bible, then pick a size. The Lock Screen widget shows the title of today's devotion. To change colors and fonts, open Settings in the app.
Can I change the app icon?
Yes. Open Settings, then App Icon, and choose from three designs in sixteen colors.
Does it cost anything?
No. Everything Bible is free, with no ads and nothing to buy.
